Xpresso has been part of Lara’s story since 2005 (originally known as Xpresso Lounge Café), rooted in tradition while continuously evolving with the times. Over the years, it has grown into a cherished and welcoming space, built on a deep love for great food, quality coffee, and genuine, heartfelt service.

We are hiring Cook/Chef
We’re looking for a passionate Chef or Cook with café experience and a strong understanding of Filipino cuisine to help us expand and introduce new flavours to our community.
The Role
Prepare and deliver high-quality café-style breakfast and lunch dishes
Contribute to menu development, with a focus on incorporating Filipino-inspired offerings
Maintain consistency, presentation, and speed during busy service periods
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience working in a café or fast-paced kitchen
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Filipino cuisine
Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt dishes for a café setting
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Experience in menu costing and portion control
Passion for sharing Filipino culture through food
Previous experience in small business or community-focused cafés
